Vegetables to Take Care of the Liver and Lower Cholesterol

Vegetables play an important role in the diet of high cholesterol and chronic hepatitis, which contain antioxidants, fiber and liver-protective nutrients. Within the plant there are certain foods that take more care of the liver and also achieve lower cholesterol.

* Artichoke: The cinarina containing protects and improves liver function.
* Carrot: Contains antioxidant essential for improving liver metabolism.
* Beetroot: Contains vitamins and minerals that protect the liver.
* Garlic and onions: These are highly purified and the effect of removing toxins from the body.
* Milk Thistle: A plant whose leaves can be eaten in salads. They contain nutrients that repair liver cells and eliminates toxins.
* Dandelion: Its fresh leaves in salads can provide a high percentage of antioxidants to facilitate removal of toxins.
* Soya and derivatives, is a food of plant origin, which in turn is rich in protein, also important for liver recovery.
* Oats: Food that contains fiber and protein which improves hepatic metabolism.

Remember that these plants must be accompanied with the consumption of fruits such as apples (containing methionine and phosphorus that also protects the liver and lowers cholesterol) and pears (contains a high concentration of vitamin B that protects the liver) and the fat-free meats.
